  ENFYS:
  22/03/2008

The Moelfre Lifeboat Crew would like to Welcome the New IB1 Inshore Lifeboat "Enfys" onto station and thank the donor for their generosity. The crew and many guests were present for the naming ceremony of "Enfys" on the 22nd March 2008. The new IB1 will be replacing her predecessor “Kingsand” which has carried out sterling service at the station for the last 10 years. The IB1 has many features including a faster top speed (of 25Knts) that will allow the crew to carry out resuces more effectively.

  Moelfre Lifeboat Day 2008
  02/08/2008

Moelfre Lifeboat at Lifeboat day 2007
Moelfre Lifeboat day this year will be on Saturday the 2nd of August. Events start at 10am, with stalls, rides and Games for children of all ages (and the adults too). The Lifeboat will be launching at 13:00pm and be doing a display showing some of the Lifesaving techniques used by the crew for various different casualties. Hopefully Rescue Helicopter 122 will be joining the Lifeboat display showing how these two rescue services work together to save hundreds of people a year.
